How do we help?

Our team work hard to establish trust-based relationships with our clients and referrers. We want to ensure that our clients feel seen, heard and respected as the experts of their own lives. We take the time to establish goals and priorities with our clients at the beginning of the therapy journey to ensure we are achieving meaningful outcomes together. We assist our clients with:

How are we different?

1. We are experienced.

Our five occupational therapists collectively bring over 100 years of diverse expertise from various clinical settings. With decades of experience in funding applications, equipment scripting, home modifications, hospital/rehab discharges, splint fabrication, medicolegal opinions, and therapy planning, our team has navigated disability challenges long before the NDIS era. This experience sets us apart in providing high-quality care tailored to individual needs.

2. We value a team approach.

At Unity OT, we’re proactive about collaboration with our clients’ Support Coordinators, Medical Specialists, Allied Health Team, Equipment Providers, Builders, and other professionals because we understand that collaboration is key to achieving comprehensive and integrated care. We pride ourselves of ensuring that every Unity OT client receives the benefit of our collective expertise, making our service not just good, but exceptional.

3. We balance clinical excellence with accessibility, efficiency and value.

At Unity OT, we recognise the financial constraints our clients face. By delegating non-clinical tasks (such as sourcing equipment quotes) to our highly trained Allied Health Assistants (AHAs), we are able to offer cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality. Our approach also allows our OTs to spend more time where it matters – on direct client care.
